Scientific Democracy is not a Panacea

Scientific Democracy is an approach that enables democracy. Scientific Democracy does not specify what change or result occurs.

This ambiguity is also found in science in the context of technology. The results of science can be beneficial (i.e. addressing causes of disease, creating new materials for increased comfort) or harmful (i.e. weapons of mass destruction, causing new diseases).

The methodology itself isn't inherently beneficial or harmful. What claims are made and then tested is an input which determines the direction in a Scientific Democracy. Choosing what to apply the scientific method is subjective. Prioritization of experiments is challenging. The outcome of one experiment informs the choices for follow-on experiments.
