Reasoning from facts and logic versus emotion

While it may feel rewarding to win an emotional argument, this forms a poor basis for evaluating options. You may not end up getting what you intended using this methodology.

The basis for Scientific Democracy is measurement of facts. Then reasoning logically about the observations using logic.

Facts and logic require transparency and data.

In science the objective is to determine quantitative relations between measurable variables. In Scientific Democracy, the measurements inform cost/benefit analysis.

The scope of cost/benefit models is very important. If each stakeholder performs cost/benefit in their own context, the interaction will be suboptimal.
